Carahue A curious museum, Chile volcanoes
The Chilean city of Carahue nice, 52 km from Temuco on the banks of the Imperial River offers a curious surprise. In one of its avenues are displayed what they call "the museum of steam engines of the world's largest, outdoor and naturally free, but limited information. It is not type steam locomotives to rail, no, are steam engines used since the 70 century 19 to nearly half of 20 century, in rural areas to boost threshers, saws wood and any other machinery that demanded great strength constant. Almost all of these machines were manufactured in England and used in the southern region of Chile.
