Based on the novel The Elegance of the Hedgehog , by Muriel Barbery, Le Hérisson (2009) tells the story of Paloma, a girl of eleven Paris very early that acid after observing the world and how people manage their lives, decides to commit suicide the day of her twelfth birthday.
